As a Lead- US GAAP Reporting(Preparer), you will be part of a team responsible for providing financial statements for various alternative investment funds such as hedge funds, private equity funds, and closed-end registered products. Your role will involve analyzing the operational structure and yearly activities of funds with different investment strategies and products. You will maintain financial reporting workbooks throughout the year to ensure compliance with U.S. Bank standards. Additionally, you will utilize advanced Excel skills to maintain the U.S. Bank automated financial reporting solutions. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating data sets for annual audits, overseeing compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting principles, and preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports. Key Responsibilities: - Provide financial statements for a variety of alternative investment funds - Analyze operational structure and yearly activities of funds with different investment strategies - Maintain financial reporting workbooks to meet U.S. Bank standards - Coordinate data sets for annual audits and information flow with internal stakeholders - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports - Participate in ad-hoc financial reporting projects as required Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience - Five or more years of experience in the alternative investments industry with advanced knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting Ideal Candidate: - Candidates from Big 4 and other large accounting firms are preferred - Inquisitive mind with a willingness to research relevant accounting topics - CPA or CA certification is preferred (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description) As a Lead- US GAAP Reporting(Preparer), you will be part of a team responsible for providing financial statements for various alternative investment funds such as hedge funds, private equity funds, and closed-end registered products.
