Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning cycles for the manufacturing operations.
• Develop detailed financial models to analyze plant performance, production costs, capacity utilization, and working capital requirements.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, procurement, and sales teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Conduct variance analysis of actuals versus budget/forecast; highlight risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
• Prepare executive-level dashboards, presentations, and data-driven reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Track key operational and financial KPIs such as margin performance, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), raw material price variance, and inventory turnover.
• Support capital expenditure planning, return on investment (ROI) assessments, and project financial feasibility studies.
• Ensure strong governance in financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and alignment with corporate policies.
• Use digital tools and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/other relevant) for financial consolidation and management reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

• CA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification with min 4 years of FP&A or business finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong business acumen with exposure to plant finance, cost accounting, and supply chain finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and production economics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling capabilities.
