In this role, you will be responsible for daily accounting activities, financial matters, month-end closings, internal and external reporting, planning, forecasting, and continuous improvement of financial processes. As the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include ensuring full compliance with operational and legal requirements, managing legal agreements, advising on deal structuring for sales transactions, focusing on taxation, forex, OEM compliance, and cash flow efficiency. You will also lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow forecasting processes, conduct business reviews to track performance, and adjust financial strategies. Additionally, you will provide general support to the management team and sales, offering assistance in accounting, taxes, and financial matters, and manage and coordinate all audit processes to ensure timely and accurate audits are conducted. To excel in this role, you should have 15+ years of post-qualification experience in finance and/or accounting, with at least 5 years of experience as a financial controller specializing in local taxation and compliance. A qualification as a Chartered Accountant is required, along with proficiency in using ERP systems, local accounting experience, and excellent working knowledge of IFRS standards and local GAAP requirements, especially related to revenue recognition of Crayon's products and services. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly self-motivated and proactive self-starter with excellent judgment in financial matters, a keen eye for detail, and a focus on improving financial processes. You should also be a business-oriented thinker, constantly seeking ways to enhance financial performance and efficiency while supporting the business.
