Minimum requirements

Key Accountabilities: - Accurate and timely monthly closing. - Ensuring the correctness of the books with all accruals and reconciliations. - Work closely with Statutory Auditors and Group internal audit teams. Manage the statutory audit, including preparation of all schedules and notes, and handle tax audits. - Keep updated with all the latest changes in accounting standards and create a paper of its impact for the management. - Handle all direct tax matters, including appeals and presentations to the department. Desirable: - Experience with SAP would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for managing the entire accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely monthly closures, and maintaining the correctness of the books with necessary accruals and reconciliations. - Collaborate closely with Statutory Auditors and the Group internal audit teams, overseeing audit processes and preparing relevant schedules and notes. - Stay updated with the latest changes in accounting standards, analyzing their impact on the business, and preparing reports for management. - Handle direct tax matters, including tax audits, appeals, and presenting information to the relevant authorities. - Develop MIS formats and contribute to efficient financial reporting, ensuring all processes align with the company s goals and regulatory requirements.
