Financial Application Analyst - SAP Solutions

We are looking for a Financial Applications Analyst that will oversee NetSuite ERP system, including operation, administration, usability, and ongoing support. In this role, you will partner with a team in Finance and other departments to identify opportunities to use NetSuite to improve our processes, deliver data-driven analytical insights, and support our business needs and growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support NetSuite users by researching and resolving production issues independently and by engaging NetSuite Premium Support and the general NetSuite Community

• Develop, document, and support NetSuite customization that enhances the system functionality by using custom fields/forms/records, dashboards, and workflows

• Ensure that major releases are implemented successfully by reviewing release documentation and executing a test plan to confirm suitability with the current processes

• Administer system access and user roles, and works within the change management processes and tools

• Understand the overall system architecture and support the interconnections between the NetSuite native components, internal customization, third-party bundles, and external integrations (Salesforce, Avalara Tax, SuiteSync, Expensify, Travel system,BI and etc)

• Leverage your understanding of the NetSuite schema and data model, particularly relating to customer and revenue data to build saved searches, reports, and data extracts

• Follow NetSuite best practices model to ensure future product capabilities will support the upcoming business needs

• Recommend process improvements to existing Finance business practices

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in any of the following ERP platforms: SAP business1, SAP by Design, Priority, SAP R3, ORACLE EBS. Big advantage for NetSuite experience (NetSuite Certified Administrator preferred).

• Experience with external integrations such as Expensify, Avalara Tax, Salesforce and external Databases (using Middleware its a plus)

• Experience with SOX compliance controls, internal and external audit, and reporting requirements Big advantage

• Finance and Accounting background Advantage

• Familiarity with Billing processes and financial reporting concepts experience with design and build integrations will be an advantage.

• Demonstrates initiative, drive, ability to meet deadlines, and performs under pressure

• Team player, responsive to urgent system issues, with demonstrated experience of effective cross-functional collaboration

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Willing to learn new platforms and get introduced to new technologies.
