As a Financial Analyst at our company, you will be a key member of the Business Unit Finance organization, providing support to the professional services and customer support teams. Your role will involve headcount forecasting and offering analytical insights to aid in strategic decision-making and enhancing operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Develop and maintain headcount forecasting models:** You will be responsible for building and refining forecasting models to project staffing needs while ensuring alignment with business objectives and budget constraints. - **Optimize workforce planning:** Collaborate with business leaders to create strategic headcount plans that balance cost efficiency with operational requirements. - **Deliver actionable insights:** Analyze trends in employee attrition, hiring, and productivity to provide data-driven recommendations that enhance workforce planning and financial performance. - **Collaborate with cross-functional teams:** Work closely with HR, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment between business growth, resource allocation, and financial planning. - **Monitor KPIs and financial performance:** Define and track key workforce-related financial metrics, generating reports and recommendations to support leadership decision-making. **Qualifications:** - **Education and Experience:** - Bachelor's and/or Masters degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience (2+ years) in a finance role, preferably within a SaaS business. - **Strong analytical skills and attention to detail:** Proficiency in headcount forecasting, data analysis, and trend identification to generate meaningful insights. - **Technical proficiency:** Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Oracle EPM, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is advantageous. - **Strong communication skills:** Ability to present complex analytical findings clearly and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and senior leadership. - **Initiative and self-starter mindset:** Demonstrated ability to enhance processes, optimize reporting, and drive strategic financial outcomes.
