As a Financial Accounting Manager JD-AU Market, your role will involve leading the accounting and compliance team in India. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing and managing daily accounting operations, including processing general ledger entries, maintenance, and reconciliations. - Preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Leading month-end and year-end closing processes for timely completion and accurate reporting. - Preparation of Federal and State returns for individuals and business entities, work papers, book to tax income reconciliation, and tax preparation/review. - Implementing new accounting systems and tools to improve financial reporting accuracy. - Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and overseeing tax return preparation and filing. - Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support decision-making by senior management. - Coordinating internal and external audits and providing timely and accurate responses to audit requests. - Collaborating with the Australian accounts team to align financial processes and reporting. - Developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency. - Providing mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff. Key Qualifications for this role include: - CA or CPA certification with 8-10 years of experience in the BPO sector. - Australian accounting experience is highly desirable. - Experience with ERPs such as Xero, QuickBooks, Joinn, Notion Sharepoint, Ariba, and other ERPs. - Ability to work in AU shifts and flexibility to work during Australian business hours. - Trustworthy, genuine, hungry, ambitious, team player, high EQ & IQ, and ability to think outside the box.
