As a Senior in Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) at EY, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and high-quality work as per EY Global Standards. Your role will require technical knowledge of IFRS/US/UK GAAP along with strong communication skills. While being based in the Manila office, you will also travel to other countries for short-term client engagements. Key Responsibilities: - Execute FAAS solutions using the Global service delivery framework, including Financial Accounting and Reporting Excellence, Accounting Processes, and Regulation, Governance, and Financing. - Direct daily progress of fieldwork, inform supervisors of engagement status, and manage client expectations regarding deliverables. - Identify engagement and client service issues, research client data to industry benchmarks, and explain critical success factors to the team. - Apply independent professional judgment in applying accounting standards, stay updated on professional standards and firm policies, and receive guidance from the Manager, Senior Manager, and Partner. Skills & Attributes for Success: - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 2-4 years of relevant experience, including at least one year in Financial Accounting. - Strong understanding of IFRS, US/UK GAAP, and excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. - Comfortable with researching client inquiries, regulations, and industry practices, and willing to travel on short notice. - Experience in services like financial statement preparation, accounting policy drafting, GAAP conversions, technical accounting research, and transaction accounting.
