Finance Manager for DTC E-commerce Brand

The company:

We're a DTC ecommerce brand that sells products in online in over 12 different countries. We are a remote team of about 6 people.

The Job:

As Finance Manager you will be the only person in charge of our finances. Therefore the range of responsibilities is quite wide, but the main part of your job will be Treasury and Accounts payable, followed by bookkeeping, followed by tax compliance, and statutory filings we have to make for all the different companies we operate. The main day to day work will revolve around accounts payables and cashflow management.

You will have a high degree of responsibility and autonomy.

Requirements/Skills:

• Business oriented, problem solver attitude. With our international supply chain, there will be difficult problems from time to time, when it comes to customs and tax compliance and banking. In such situations you need to come up with practical solutions.
• You understand the principles of corporate taxes: VAT, income tax, sales tax etc.
• Fluent english
• Independence: As you will work remotely we need you to take responsibility and work unsupervised for longer periods of time.
• Proficient accounting skills, creating balance sheets, P&Ls and planning cashflows
• Intelligence&Curiosity: You will encounter a lot of problems you haven’t seen before. You need to be able to investigate them and come up with solutions
