Finance Control

As an experienced Costing and Finance professional, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Running product costing in SAP on a monthly/quarterly basis - Controlling and reviewing product costs, analyzing budget vs. actual cost variances - Allocating budgeted overheads product-wise - Analyzing under/over absorption of overhead - Conducting cost-benefit analysis and providing ad-hoc/standard reporting as per business requirements - Verifying Bills of Materials (BOM) and recipes in SAP based on Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) - Calculating monthly Raw Material Cost (RMC) and manufacturing savings - Reviewing scrap and solvent sales, releasing sales orders - Updating activity rates in SAP, including equipment-wise rates - Leading cost reduction projects, conducting Product Profitability Analysis (PPA) for new development products - Assisting in Cost audit, internal, and statutory audits - Providing costing and system-related support to the site - Finalizing Process orders in SAP on a monthly basis - Reviewing code-to-code transactions in SAP - Extending material codes in consultation with the Master Data Management (MDM) cell - Releasing Purchase Requests (PR) and coordinating with relevant functions for error resolution - Carrying forward FRN/PR/PO at year-end In the Finance domain, your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring budget utilization, issuing FRNs based on requests - Valuing inventory, analyzing variances - Scrutinizing expense provisions for month-end closing - Conducting physical inventory verification annually and fixed asset verification every 3 years - Reviewing and discussing B & R stock with site head monthly - Coordinating fixed asset transfers/sales as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Regarding Management Information Systems (MIS), you will be responsible for: - Preparing month-end MIS, reviewing budget vs. actual figures (Monthly and Year-to-Date) - Generating daily product-wise batch-wise yield reports - Compiling daily reports on fresh and recovered solvent usage - Automating daily reporting processes - Coordinating budget preparation across all functions - Undertaking any other activities as required from time to time Your preferred skills for this role include: - Excellent communication skills - Proactive and self-motivated approach - Strong inter and intra-departmental coordination abilities - Willingness to challenge the status quo - Strong analytical and exploratory skills - Proficiency in SAP and Excel Join our team in Ambarnath, Thane, Mumbai and contribute towards driving process improvements, cost efficiencies, and financial control within the organization.,
