Finance Associate, Regulatory Reporting

As a Finance Associate with the India Finance team at ANZ, your role will be crucial in supporting the team to achieve key finance goals by providing accurate and timely financial information to external and internal stakeholders. You will also play a vital role in partnering with the business to support franchise growth and ensure adherence to robust control and governance standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support Group Financial Reporting, including month-end/quarter end/year end closure and compliance with all financial policies & procedures. - Assist in the preparation of local Financials, Notes to accounts, and local statutory audit closure. - Support local regulatory (RBI) reporting including Form A, Form VIII, Form X, ALE, ROR, CRR SLR, NOOP reporting, etc. - Manage Risk Based Supervision (RBS) requirements and Bank Profile submissions to RBI. - Act as the Finance Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for driving automation of local regulatory returns and RBS submissions. - Provide support during RBI inspection audits and balance sheet reconciliations. **Qualifications Required:** - Knowledge of Indian GAAP requirements applicable to Banks. - Familiarity with RBI regulatory reporting requirements, IND AS standards, and requirements. - Experience in finalising accounts, closing statutory audits, and working with RBS tranche submissions. - Proficiency in Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel, preferably with exposure to ERP applications like Peoplesoft. - Attention to detail ensuring accuracy in financial and regulatory reporting. - Ability to work under tight deadlines, collaborate effectively with other teams, and an efficiency-oriented mindset with a focus on automation. - Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.,
