Industry Preference: Experience in E-commerce preferred

We are hiring an Accountant to handle and streamline our financial transactions, from fixed payments to budgeting and taxation. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in bookkeeping, have a sharp eye for numerical details, and possess strong knowledge of GST and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions and prepare budget forecasts.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and publish timely financial statements.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely bank payments.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual returns.
• Ensure compliance with company, state, and national financial regulations.
• Compile, analyze, and report financial data to relevant stakeholders.
• Generate financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Present data to investors and management; maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform audits, resolve discrepancies, and compute taxes.
• Stay updated on finance and accounting-related regulations and practices.
• Support management in financial planning and decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven work experience in an accounting role.
• Excellent knowledge of GST, financial regulations, and compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented with ethical conduct and the ability to evaluate complex information.
• Preference for candidates with e-commerce accounting experience.
