Final Test/Process Qualification Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining YES (Yield Engineering Systems, Inc.) as a Final Test/Process Qualification Engineer in Coimbatore, India. Your role will involve conducting FAT tests for Semiconductor equipment, executing checklists and procedures, performing statistical analyses on data, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, documenting processes and production data, refining process recipes, conducting DOE's, handling vacuum chambers with safety measures, interpreting PNID diagrams, working with gases like CDA, N2, and helium, operating Kawasaki robots, evaluating ESD requirements, handling semiconductor wafers/panels with care, verifying Lock-out/Tag-out procedures, interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct FAT test for Semiconductor equipment & qualification. - Execute on the Final Test Checklist, sign off each task, and ensure on-time delivery to customers. - Collect, process, and analyze data. - Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform diagnostic procedures. - Record process documentation and production data accurately. - Refine process recipe to meet customer requirements. - Conduct DOE's for product design optimization. - Handle vacuum chambers and Load-locks safely. - Interpret PNID diagrams and adjust piping instruments if needed. - Experience with handling gases like CDA, N2, and helium. - Operate Kawasaki robots, Load ports, aligner, and Ionizer bar. - Evaluate ESD requirement for the Platforms. - Handle semiconductor wafers/panels with precision. - Verify Lock-out/Tag-out procedures and ensure EHS guidelines compliance. - Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics. - Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft suites. - Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment. - Work in a cleanroom environment. - Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues. Qualifications: - Degree in electrical, electronics, software, or mechanical engineering preferred. - 5-8 years of experience in final testing/Process. - Experience in high-volume manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of equipment engineering in Semiconductor, Solar, or LED industry. - Ability to read electrical, electronic, and mechanical drawings. - CAD, Solid work, and inventor knowledge is a plus. - Understanding of software, PLC, vacuum, thermal, and Chemical Vapor Deposition systems. - Lean manufacturing skills. - Experience in customer and supplier interactions.
