Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Conduct
fabrication, machining, and assembly inspections
as per approved drawings, customer specifications, and QAP requirements.
Verify
dimensional accuracy, welding quality, and surface finish
to ensure conformance to engineering and quality standards.
Review and implement
QAPs / ITPs
, identify hold and witness points, and coordinate with customer / third-party inspectors for approvals.
Coordinate effectively with
Design, Production, Planning, and Purchase
teams to ensure inspection readiness and timely resolution of quality issues.
Handle
customer and third-party inspections
, ensuring timely communication, documentation, and closure of inspection observations.
Ensure prompt
closure of Non-Conformities (NCs)
raised during in-house or customer inspections by initiating corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare and maintain
inspection reports, material traceability records, and final quality dossiers
for dispatch clearance.
Support
continuous improvement initiatives
related to process and product quality.
