Job Overview:

Finacle + Selenium Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Automation Framework Development
: Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using
Selenium WebDriver
,
Java
, and related tools for the
Finacle Core Banking Suite
.
Test Scripting and Execution
: Develop reusable, maintainable, and efficient automation scripts for functional and regression testing of Finacle modules (e.g., deposits, loans, payments, etc.) and banking interfaces.
Integration and Continuous Testing
: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring continuous testing and quality checks in the software development lifecycle.
Collaboration and Communication
: Work closely with functional teams to understand banking requirements, business logic, and workflows for effective test automation. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Performance Testing
: Conduct performance testing and ensure scalability of the Finacle application through automation tools and scripting.
Issue Tracking and Bug Reporting
: Identify, report, and track defects, and work closely with developers for root cause analysis and resolution.
Test Data Management
: Create and manage test data for automated tests, ensuring that test cases cover all scenarios and edge cases for Finacle applications.
Continuous Improvement
: Continuously evaluate and improve automation processes, tools, and frameworks to increase test efficiency and reduce test cycle times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience
: 6-14 years of experience in testing, with at least 4+ years of experience specifically in
test automation
(preferably using
Selenium
).
Core Banking Expertise
: Solid understanding of
Finacle
(Infosys Core Banking Solution) and its different modules like deposits, loans, payments, and integrations.
Automation Tools
: Strong expertise in
Selenium WebDriver
,
TestNG/JUnit
,
Maven
, and
Git
. Experience with additional tools like
Jenkins
,
Cucumber
, or
Appium
will be a plus.
Programming Languages
: Proficiency in
Java
or
Python
for test automation scripting.
Version Control
: Hands-on experience in version control systems such as
Git
or
SVN
.
CI/CD Integration
: Experience with continuous integration tools like
Jenkins
,
GitLab CI
, or similar.
Performance Testing
: Familiarity with performance testing tools such as
JMeter
or
LoadRunner
is a plus.
Database Knowledge
: Proficiency in working with relational databases such as
Oracle
,
SQL Server
, and writing SQL queries to validate data.
Problem-Solving
: Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills
: Strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
