Field Engineer- Civil

As a Field Engineer- Civil, your role involves overseeing and supervising a specific cluster of villages, ensuring that all ongoing construction works within the cluster meet the required standards. Your responsibilities include: - Immediately checking measurements after the completion of activities such as foundations and reinforcements in RCC structures before they are concealed. - Independently supervising and managing the entire cluster, including pipeline work, OHTs, HSCs, testing, and commissioning of components. - Timely attending Requests for Inspections (RFIs) and approving contractor work based on drawings and technical specifications. - Meticulously documenting on-site activities using the Daily Inspection module of Jal Rekha to maintain quality and compliance standards. - Undertaking fieldwork, data collection, and updating digital project monitoring initiatives like Jal Rekha, e-Prabandhan, e-Praman. - Witnessing Quality Assurance of works, material testing procedures, and quality control measures. - Checking and verifying laboratory and field tests conducted by the contractor and ensuring proper record-keeping. - Ordering removal and replacement of substandard materials. - Conducting independent measurements, verifying quantity calculations, and monitoring day-to-day quality control. - Reviewing the QAQC system of the team to ensure alignment with approved designs and specifications. - Updating the team and Client on any deviations from QAQC standards. - Ensuring that measurements in the Measurement Book align with actual work progress and contract terms. - Witnessing start-up, testing, and commissioning activities as per contract specifications. - Inspecting construction works during the project's execution phase. - Establishing and monitoring a system of Quality Control & Quality Assurance for works, material approvals, and testing procedures. - Regularly interacting with the GM/DGM and performing any other duties assigned by the Team Leader. Qualifications required for this position include a BE Civil or Diploma Civil degree.,
