Description
As a Fashion Photography Intern at SDS by KUSHAL SHAH, you will be responsible for contributing to various aspects of photography production, videography, creative development, post-production, digital asset management, cross-functional collaboration, equipment coordination, innovation, and market research. Your key responsibility areas include: - **Photography Production & Execution:** - Assist in planning, executing, and capturing high-quality imagery for campaigns, lookbooks, e-commerce, and product shoots. - Support the photography team in lighting setup, styling, props, and logistics for in-house, studio, and outdoor sessions. - Maintain visual consistency across all photography in line with SDS's luxury aesthetic. - **Videography & Motion Content:** - Capture short-form videos, BTS content, and campaign films for social media and digital use. - Support in shoot planning, framing, and motion storytelling to bring creative concepts to life. - Edit and refine video content to ensure seamless storytelling and visual appeal. - **Creative Development & Visual Direction:** - Contribute to moodboard creation, theme development, and shoot ideation in collaboration with stylists and the creative team. - Research and suggest new visual trends in fashion photography and videography relevant to luxury branding. - **Post-Production & Editing:** - Edit, retouch, and color-correct images while maintaining luxury editorial quality standards. - Manage video editing, transitions, audio synchronization, and visual enhancements. - Ensure timely delivery of high-quality post-production outputs for campaigns and digital platforms. - **Digital Asset Management:** - Organize, tag, and maintain archives of raw and edited content, ensuring quick accessibility and secure storage. - Coordinate with editors and production teams for efficient post-production workflows. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** - Work closely with stylists, designers, marketing, and digital teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling. - Support in creating visual content that aligns with ongoing marketing, social media, and e-commerce objectives. - **Equipment & Studio Coordination:** - Manage studio setup, camera gear, lighting equipment, and ensure proper maintenance. - Coordinate with vendors for equipment rentals, setups, and shoot logistics. - **Innovation & Market Research:** - Stay updated with industry trends, creative techniques, and tools in fashion photography and motion design. - Explore new ways to integrate visual storytelling with brand campaigns and digital content strategy. **Required Skills & Software Proficiency:** - **Photography & Videography Tools:** DSLR / Mirrorless camera handling, lens operations, lighting control, reflectors, tripods, and studio rig setup. - **Editing & Post-Production:** Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve (preferred), Capture One. - **Design & Layout Tools:** Canva and Figma. - **File & Workflow Management:** Google Drive, Dropbox. In addition, you should have a strong visual sensibility, proficiency in camera handling and editing tools, excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently, and a passion for fashion and photography. Prior internship or experience in fashion or luxury photography is preferred.,
