As a Merchandiser, your role involves ensuring products are visible, well-stocked, and attractively displayed in retail stores to maximize sales and meet company goals. Your key responsibilities include: - Inventory Management: Maintain appropriate stock levels, track inventory, and ensure timely deliveries to prevent stockouts and overstocking. - Visual Merchandising: Strategically arrange products, create effective displays, and set up promotional signs to attract customers and increase product visibility. - Sales & Promotion: Develop and implement strategies to boost sales, plan promotions, and align products with market trends. - Market Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to make informed decisions about product selection and pricing. - Supplier & Team Collaboration: Work with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure product availability, collaborate with internal teams (like marketing and logistics) to coordinate product flow. - Store Operations: Organize product placement on shelves and displays, and ensure store appearance aligns with brand guidelines. Your essential skills for this role include: - Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategy. - Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and inventory effectively. - Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication skills to work with teams and suppliers, and negotiation skills for pricing and promotions. - Visual & Creative Skills: A strong sense of visual design to create appealing displays that attract customers. - Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with merchandising software, data analysis tools, and spreadsheets. Qualifications often preferred for this role include a degree in Business, Marketing, or Retail Management. Experience in retail sales, inventory management, or merchandising is beneficial. Knowledge of retail supply chain operations and planogram design can be a plus.,
