As a merchandiser, your role involves ensuring that products are attractively displayed in stores and online to maximize sales. Your key responsibilities will include stocking shelves, arranging products, setting up displays, managing inventory, and ensuring products are priced and promoted correctly. Additionally, you will analyze sales data and market trends to make strategic decisions about product placement and promotions. Key Responsibilities: - Product display: Arrange, stock, and display products on shelves and in stores to make them appealing to customers. This includes setting up promotional displays and ensuring price signs are accurate. - Inventory management: Monitor stock levels, prevent out-of-stocks, and remove outdated or damaged products. - Strategy and analysis: Develop and implement merchandising strategies, analyze sales and market data, and stay up-to-date on retail trends to drive sales. - Supplier and vendor relations: Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure product availability and timely deliveries. - Store operations: Tasks may include cleaning up unwanted items, performing stockouts, and working with store staff. Qualifications Required: - Skills: Strong attention to detail, creative visual sense, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze data. - Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred. - Experience: Prior experience in merchandising, retail planning, or inventory management is beneficial.,
