Managing the design process from conception to final styling, conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques, and seeking design inspiration. Designing Western Pret wear and collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to the line, and create new concepts. Ensuring the product is in agreement with the business strategy by selecting fabrics and trims, reviewing products for style and fit during presentations, creating mood boards, and overseeing production. Analyzing trends in fabrics, colors, and shapes. Fashion Designer Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in fashion designing from a reputed institute. - Minimum 3 years of design experience. - Experience in designing Western Pret wear for women, blending modern silhouettes with high fashion detail. - Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Coral Etc. - Sketching designs, visualizing concepts, and potentially using digital tools to bring designs to life. - Availability to travel for research and product development. - Ability to do sketches by hand. - Excellent design and conceptual skills. - Excellent sense of style and color. - Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. - Responsible for tracking inventory and maintaining accurate, up-to-date inventory records regularly. - Ability to meet multiple deadlines. - Should have basic pattern knowledge.
