Fashion Designer Cum Merchandiser

You will be responsible for managing the design process from conceptualization to final styling. This includes conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques while seeking design inspiration. You will collaborate with team members to choose seasonal themes, make necessary edits to the line, and develop new concepts. Your role will involve selecting and sourcing fabrics and trims, as well as creating production sketches for development packages. Additionally, you will work closely with the production team to ensure the accuracy of development packages and review products for style, comfort, and fit during presentations. Daily coordination and communication with suppliers and buyers will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also need to ensure timely delivery of shipments and maintain quality standards as per requirements. Furthermore, you will be expected to develop product samples based on buyer's specifications and possess a good understanding of testing parameters. Effective communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and a pleasing personality are essential for this role. Fluency in English and Hindi, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in merchandising and fashion designing, are required qualifications. A degree from a reputed fashion university in India or abroad is also necessary. You should be confident and articulate in presentations and willing to travel as needed within PAN India or abroad. This position is full-time, permanent, or internship-based with a contract length of 60 days. The work schedule is during day shifts with additional performance and yearly bonuses. Candidates should be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The preferred work experience is a total of 2 years.
