As an Assistant Fashion Designer at Bubble Bee Export House, located in Ahmedabad, India, you will have the exciting opportunity to be part of a leading women's wear apparel manufacturing company known for its exceptional designs and quality products. Working in the heart of Ahmedabad, you will contribute to creating fashion that combines modern trends with a touch of traditional elegance. Your main responsibilities will include assisting in the development and design of women's wear collections, collaborating with the lead designer in researching fashion trends, creating mood boards, selecting fabrics, colors, prints, and trims for new collections, creating initial sketches and designs for approval, and overseeing the production process to ensure accurate execution of designs. Additionally, you will work closely with the marketing team to provide creative input for campaigns and photoshoots, coordinate with suppliers and vendors for sourcing materials, and participate in fittings while making necessary adjustments to designs. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in women's apparel. A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity is essential, as well as proficiency in fashion design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. You should possess an excellent understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong sense of aesthetics are also required.
