Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Design Faculty at IIFD Kolkata. The Fashion Design Faculty will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting practical sessions, mentoring students, developing curriculum, and staying updated with latest industry trends. The role includes evaluating student performance, providing feedback, and participating in departmental meetings and academic events.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Fashion Design, including pattern making, fabric selection, and garment construction
• Experience in teaching or training within an academic setting
• Knowledge of design software and tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other fashion design software
• Strong communication, mentoring, and presentation skills
• Ability to develop and update course materials and curriculum
• Industry experience in fashion design or related field is a plus
• Master’s degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred; Bachelor's degree required
