Fashion Design Assistant Illustrator

As a Fashion Design Assistant Illustrator, your role will involve creating fashion illustrations based on the designer's vision, assisting in pattern making, fabric cutting, and basic tailoring tasks. You will also be responsible for coordinating with the design and production team, conducting market and trend research, maintaining mood boards and fabric swatches, and preparing detailed technical drawings and specification sheets. Additionally, you will provide support in fittings, adjustments, and finishing touches, ensuring timely completion of sample garments while effectively communicating in English with clients, vendors, and team members. Key Responsibilities: - Create fashion illustrations based on the designer's vision and concept briefs - Assist in pattern making, fabric cutting, and basic tailoring tasks - Coordinate with the design and production team to ensure smooth execution - Conduct market and trend research to support seasonal collections - Maintain mood boards, fabric swatches, and illustration sheets - Prepare detailed technical drawings and specification sheets - Provide support in fittings, adjustments, and finishing touches - Ensure timely completion of sample garments - Communicate effectively in English with clients, vendors, and team members Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Diploma in Fashion Design or related field - Minimum 2 years of experience in fashion design or as an assistant designer - Strong sketching and fashion illustration skills (digital and/or manual) - Good knowledge of cutting, pattern drafting, and tailoring techniques - Proficient in English (spoken and written) - Creative, detail-oriented, and quick to adapt - Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Illustrator is a plus,
