Farm Assistant

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a hardworking and responsible individual to manage day-to-day farming and gardening activities at our private farmhouse. The role requires hands-on work along with basic supervision. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of dairy work and Organic Farming in addition to horticulture. Key Responsibilities: Daily care and maintenance of fruit trees, vegetables, flowers, and lawns Seasonal planting, pruning, watering, weeding, and composting Operate tools and small machinery for basic farming needs Regular monitoring of plant and crop health Handle basic dairy-related tasks if livestock is present (milking, feeding, cleaning, etc.) Assist in farm cleanliness and general upkeep of the premises Keep stock of seeds, fertilizers, and other supplies Work actively – not just supervising but performing tasks independently Requirements: Prior experience in gardening, farming, or kitchen gardening Basic dairy experience is a strong plus Must be physically fit and willing to do outdoor manual labor Honest, responsible, and able to follow routines Able to work with minimal supervision and take initiative BSc Horticulture is a plus Basic reading/writing in Hindi/English preferred Benefits: On-site accommodation available (if required) Peaceful and green working environment Long-term stability for the right candidate Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month Benefits: Paid sick time Schedule: Day shift Fixed shift Work Location: In person
