Factory Manager Corrugated Boxes

As a Factory Manager for Corrugated Boxes, you will be responsible for overseeing the production operations of our manufacturing unit. Your primary duties will include ensuring smooth plant operations, maintaining product quality, managing the workforce, and driving efficiency in line with company goals. To succeed in this role, you must possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of corrugated packaging manufacturing, and the ability to implement process improvements to maximize productivity while minimizing costs. Your key responsibilities will include planning, organizing, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the factory, ensuring smooth functioning of the production process to meet delivery deadlines and quality standards, supervising and managing staff, monitoring production schedules, maintaining quality control procedures, implementing safety standards, managing inventory, controlling operational costs, and optimizing production processes. Additionally, you will be required to liaise with other teams such as sales, procurement, and logistics for smooth coordination, train and motivate employees, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or a related field, along with 5-10 years of proven experience in factory/plant management, preferably in the corrugated packaging or paper industry. You must possess strong knowledge of corrugated box production processes, machinery, and quality control standards, excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, a good understanding of factory safety, compliance, and labor laws, as well as the ability to handle pressure and make quick, effective decisions. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.
