Key Responsibilities

• Factory Operations Management:

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations of HVAC ducts, plasma cutting, and welding jobs.
  
• Monitor production schedules and coordinate with planning teams to meet project timelines.
  
• Maintain operational efficiency, material flow, and workforce management on the shop floor.
  

• Team Supervision:

• Lead and manage factory technicians, welders, and helpers.
  
• Ensure safety protocols, cleanliness, and productivity in the workshop.
  

• Quality & Process Control:

• Ensure fabricated ducts, stands, and accessories meet quality standards.
  
• Coordinate with quality control and project teams for final inspections.
  

• Logistics & Dispatch:

• Oversee material dispatches to project sites in coordination with logistics vendors.
  
• Plan packaging and timely delivery of fabricated materials as per zone-wise dispatch requirements.
  

• Vendor & Procurement Coordination:

• Work with the procurement team to ensure timely material availability.
  
• Assist in contract and price negotiations when required.
  

• ERP & Documentation:

• Update and track production records in

  ERP software (Opterix or equivalent)

• Maintain inventory logs, factory reports, and vendor communications.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, or related engineering field.
  

• 3 to 8 years of experience

  in factory operations, preferably in the

  HVAC ducting/fabrication

  industry.
• Proficiency in

  MS Office

  , especially Excel, for daily reporting and planning.
• Familiarity with

  ERP software

  is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
  
• Knowledge of

  logistics, dispatch planning, contract management, and market trends

  .
• Ethical and organized with excellent time management and multitasking ability.
  
• Ability to identify risks in supply chain or production and implement proactive solutions.
