Job Description: Facility and Admin Manager About Clean Electric Clean Electric is a Series A funded battery tech company focused on designing and manufacturing advanced li-ion batteries for EVs and energy storage applications which enable 12-min rapid charging, long life and unrivalled safety. We are pushing the boundaries of the EV industry with our Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC) thermal management, integrated cell-to-pack (CTP) architecture, and proprietary dynamic charging algorithms running on a custom-engineered in-house battery management system. Home | Clean Electric New | Clean Electric: About | LinkedIn Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Facility and Admin Manager to oversee the operations of our sophisticated battery manufacturing plant. This role requires a deep understanding of advanced machinery and equipment, as well as expertise in managing facility operations to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to liaise effectively with both local and international suppliers. Role Description and Key Responsibilities Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of high-tech machinery and equipment within the battery manufacturing plant, ensuring peak performance and reliability. Implement and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all plant equipment. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment, in accordance with health and safety regulations. Technical Expertise: Apply your deep understanding of low voltage (LT) and high voltage (HT) power distribution systems to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues. Manage and coordinate the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and machinery. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize processes and improve equipment efficiency. Administrative Management: Supervise administrative staff and manage day-to-day office operations within the facility. Develop and maintain facility policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Organize company events, meetings, and training sessions. Vendor and Supplier Management: Liaise with local and international suppliers for equipment maintenance, negotiating contracts and ensuring service quality. Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency. Budget and Financial Management: Assist in the development and management of the facilitys budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Reporting and Compliance: Prepare comprehensive reports on facility operations, maintenance activities, and administrative performance for senior management. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. Desired Qualifications and Experience Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Power Engineering (B.Tech preferred). Minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment, specifically in battery, automotive, or auto component manufacturing. Strong technical background with a proven understanding of machinery maintenance and power distribution systems. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Desired Skills and Attributes Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of machinery and electrical systems, especially in battery or automotive manufacturing. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and effectively. Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and vendors. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of employees. Vendor Management: Experience in negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and service providers. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to assess operations and identify areas for improvement. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
