Job Description: Software Architect About Clean Electric Clean Electric is a Series A funded battery tech company focused on designing and manufacturing advanced li-ion batteries for EVs and energy storage applications which enable 12-min rapid charging, long life and unrivalled safety. We are pushing the boundaries of the EV industry with our Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC) thermal management, integrated cell-to-pack (CTP) architecture, and proprietary dynamic charging algorithms running on a custom-engineered in-house battery management system. Founded in 2020 by IIT-BHU graduates Akash Gupta, Abhinav Roy and Ankit Joshi, we are today rapidly scaling and deploying our tech across 2W and 3W segments with plans to enter 4W and commercial vehicles as well. Home | Clean Electric New | Clean Electric: About | LinkedIn Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Software Architect who can take high-level design decisions for software development, integrate internal systems with 3rd party systems, and develop scalable and reliable system architectures. You will see the big picture and create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team, being deeply involved with the business as well the engineering team to drive results. The ideal candidate would have extensive technical experience building and maintaining large applications. This is an 80% technical and 20% management role. It is also a work-from-office role. Role Description and Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the team to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications Work with UI designers and engineers to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product Develop high-level system design with attention to system integration and feasibility Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to the development team Work hand-in-glove with the development team to deliver a quality product on time Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers Sync up with the business teams during development to discuss required changes Approve final product before launch Desired Qualifications and Experience More than 2+ years of experience as a software architect or senior software engineer Experience in software development in various languages (JavaScript, Java, Python) Experience with popular web frameworks, databases, and system architectures B.Tech in computer science, engineering or experience in software development Desired Skills and Attributes Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design A technical mindset with great attention to detail, ability to work with hardware concepts High-quality organizational and leadership skills Location: Near Chakan, Pune, India (on-site) Pay and Benefits: Competitive pay as per market standard, will be evaluated based on profile and skills.
