Now Hiring -Software Architect Location - Remote-India (Candidate in India only apply) We are seeking a skilled Software Architect to guide the technical direction of our expanding systems. This role is critical to shaping and scaling both front-end and back-end architecture. In this position, you will lead the design of complex software systems, contribute to strategic technology decisions, and support engineering teams through mentorship and technical reviews. Your work will directly influence the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our product offerings. You will be expected to bring deep experience in software design and system architecture, along with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment. Responsibilities: Define and communicate a clear architectural vision aligned with business goals and growth plans. Design and document scalable, reliable, and secure system architectures with consideration for performance, cost, and maintainability. Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to improve our software stack and system capabilities. Lead the migration effort of a legacy PHP system to a modern Node.js/MySQL architecture. Participate in code reviews and provide guidance and mentorship to engineering team members. Work closely with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams to align on project goals and execution strategies. Maintain clear and comprehensive architectural documentation. Solve complex technical challenges and propose innovative, long-term solutions. Ensure that security best practices are embedded in all system layers. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a software architecture or systems design role. Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Strong technical expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, especially Node.js, Typescript, Angular, Express, and Socket.io. Hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS ECS. Solid understanding of relational databases, especially MySQL. Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. A sound understanding of secure software development principles. Exposure to PHP is a bonus but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate across remote teams, and experience mentoring technical staff.
