Job Title: Fabrication Technician / Fabricator

Duty Hours: 8 Hours Per Day

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Fabricators for a leading manufacturing/fabrication company in Tirunelveli. The role involves the fabrication of structural components, machinery parts, and sheet metal using welding, cutting, and assembly processes based on technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret fabrication drawings and execute tasks with precision
• Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, bending, and welding of metal parts
• Operate fabrication tools and machines (e.g., welding machines, gas cutters, grinders)
• Assemble and fit fabricated parts according to the required dimensions
• Conduct quality checks and ensure proper finishing
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the work area
• Work as part of a team to meet production deadlines
• Report work progress and issues to the supervisor

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in fabrication (MIG, TIG, Arc Welding preferred)
• Education: ITI / Diploma / Trade Certificate or relevant hands-on experience
• Skills: Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tools
• Language: Tamil (preferred for workplace communication)
