Export Documentation Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, verify, and manage export documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Insurance, and other regulatory documents.
  
• Handle

  dairy/FMCG-specific export documents

  such as Product Analysis Reports, and FSSAI-related documentation.
• Coordinate with CHAs, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and cold-chain logistics providers for timely and compliant shipments.
  
• Ensure compliance with

  DGFT, Customs, FSSAI, APEDA (if applicable)

  , and importing country regulations.
• Monitor shipment schedules, track containers, and update internal teams and overseas customers.
  
• Coordinate with banks for LC documentation, export bills, and realization of export proceeds (e-BRC).
  
• Liaise with production, quality, QA/QC, finance, and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch of perishable goods.
  
• Handle documentation discrepancies, amendments, and customer queries related to shipments.
  
• Maintain accurate records of export shipments, documentation, and compliance reports.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  
• 1-5 years of experience in

  export documentation within FMCG / Food processing industry

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  INCOTERMS, customs procedures, cold-chain logistics

  , and export compliance.
• Familiarity with

  FSSAI regulations, food safety norms, and international food export requirements

  .
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and export documentation software.
  
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
• High attention to detail and ability to work under strict timelines.
