Experienced Video Editor

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic media team. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing and producing engaging video content that aligns with our brand identity and marketing strategies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from promotional videos to social media content, utilising a broad range of editing tools and techniques. The ideal applicant will possess a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a passion for visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro
• Incorporate graphics, colour grading, sound, and special effects to enhance video quality
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver compelling visual narratives
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
• Utilise Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator to create animations and visual elements
• Organise and archive video files efficiently for easy retrieval and future use
• Maintain consistency in style, tone, and branding across all video content
• Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and multimedia production

Qualifications

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Knowledge of photography principles is a plus
• Strong understanding of colour correction, sound editing, and motion graphics
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and storytelling excellence
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
