Experienced System Design Engineer

You will be working as a Senior System Design Engineer in the Electrical System Design team within the Hardware & Platform Group. Your main responsibility will be designing the complete Electrical System Detailed Functional Schematics for the vehicle, starting from the concept stage until the start of production. Your role will involve reviewing system concept solutions, documenting Electrical System Design solutions, performing simulations, recommending wire cross-sections, and supporting physical verification on test objects. Key Responsibilities: - Support in development and documentation of Electrical System Design concepts - Lead the review of Finalized Electrical System Design Concept with stakeholders - Create and maintain the Electrical Functional Schematics - Support in finalizing Power and Grounding concepts - Recommend wire cross-section to the wiring team - Create and maintain EE components hardware model - Lead in fixing EE issues found on test objects - Actively participate in the development and enhancement of methods and processes Qualifications Required: - ME/M.Tech or BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 6 to 8 years of experience in Automotive Electrical domain - Automotive engineering knowledge with strong Electrical/Electronics engineering knowledge - Experience in design and development of Vehicle end-to-end Functional Schematics - Knowledge of simulation tools for modeling electrical behavior - Understanding of automotive electrical systems/functions - Familiarity with Electrical design tools such as Saber, Capital H - Knowledge of software development V cycle, Vehicle EE architecture, power distribution & grounding topologies - Strong knowledge of Hardware Interfaces with electrical components - Understanding of power management systems in vehicles - Knowledge of toolchains like JIRA, Confluence, and other PLM tools - Working knowledge of Internal Combustion Engine, Battery Electric Vehicle, and Hybrid Electric vehicles - Knowledge of vehicle regulations, emission norms, Functional Safety (ISO26262), Cybersecurity, SFMEA, and quality tools - Team and cross-functional work abilities - Good communication skills in English You will be part of a self-organized scrum team and have the opportunity to work with world-class products, a wide range of EE platforms, and a team of skilled engineers.
