Experienced Smart Device Integration(SDI), Telematics and Navigation Test Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining a dynamic global team as a Smart Device Integration (SDI), Telematics & Navigation Test Engineer, focusing on cutting-edge infotainment, telematics, and navigation systems. Your role will involve validating SDI features, performing end-to-end testing, analyzing error patterns, validating navigation and map features, and collaborating with on-site teams in Europe. Key Responsibilities: - Validate Smart Device Integration (SDI) features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and connected telematics services. - Perform end-to-end testing across infotainment, navigation, and telematics domains to ensure smooth connectivity and data consistency. - Analyze complex error patterns, create tickets, and validate navigation and map features. - Test native navigation systems and projected apps like Google Maps, Apple Maps, and Waze. - Collaborate with engineers, designers, and architects to reproduce issues and validate fixes. - Maintain high-quality documentation and contribute to continuous improvement in test automation and efficiency. Qualifications Required: - 5-10 years of experience in infotainment, telematics, or navigation-system validation. - Hands-on expertise with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS/Navigation testing, and Connected Vehicle Telematics. - Strong understanding of vehicle-backend communication, OTA updates, and connected services. - Proficiency in tools like JIRA, ALM, Polarion, Android Studio Logcat, iOS Console, Wireshark, CANoe, CANalyzer, and GPS trace analysers. - Experience with functional and regression testing aligned with ISTQB or ASPICE frameworks. - Bachelors degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering. - Excellent English communication skills and proactive collaboration across global teams.
