Job Description

You will be joining a premium preschool and daycare in Gurgaon that offers exceptional early childhood education to both Indian and expat children. The focus is on international experiential learning in a nurturing, creative, and safe environment that fosters the holistic development of young minds. As an Extended Preschool Teacher, your main responsibility will be nurturing and educating children in the 1.5-3 years age group, with a focus on their cognitive, emotional, and social development. This role requires creativity, patience, and a deep passion for early childhood education. Your key responsibilities will include planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans in line with the experiential and play-based curriculum. You will foster creativity, curiosity, and independent thinking in children through thematic activities and structured learning experiences. Maintaining a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment will be crucial, along with guiding children's behavior positively and encouraging good manners, cooperation, and teamwork. You will also observe and assess children's developmental progress, providing individualized attention and support as needed to encourage the development of motor skills, communication, and emotional regulation. Regular communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and overall development will be essential. Conducting parent-teacher meetings to discuss milestones and areas of improvement will also be part of your role. Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children during indoor and outdoor activities is a priority. You will work closely with co-teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment. Participation in staff meetings and contribution to curriculum planning and school events will also be expected. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, along with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience teaching in a preschool setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children are essential. Strong organizational and time-management skills will also be beneficial. In return, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from 25,000 to 30,000 per month based on experience and qualifications. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative work environment with the opportunity to work with an international, multicultural community of students and parents. This is a full-time position that offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children through quality education and care.,
