Looking for Software Tester
Experience : 1 to 2 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Design:

  Analyze user stories, specifications, and requirements to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Test Execution:

  Execute manual and automated test scripts to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.

• Defect Management:

  Log and track defects using a defect tracking system, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.

• Reporting and Communication:

  Prepare clear and concise test reports, communicate findings to stakeholders, and participate in meetings to discuss testing progress and issues.

• Regression Testing:

  Perform regression testing after bug fixes and software updates to ensure that existing functionality remains unaffected.

• Test Environment Setup:

  Set up and maintain the test environment, including test data and necessary tools.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient software development lifecycle.

• Quality Assurance:

  Apply quality engineering principles throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques

  .

• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies

  .

• Knowledge of testing tools and defect tracking systems

  .

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience in data analysis

  .

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  .

• Understanding of different types of testing: functional, integration, regression, performance.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: is often preferred.

• Experience with various testing tools: (e. g. , Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
