Role & responsibilities

In-house Server & System Administration:

• Install, configure, and manage

  Windows/Linux physical & virtual servers

  at corporate and other office locations.
• Administer

  Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Servers, and Database/Application Servers

  .
• Manage

  server backups

  and ensure

  disaster recovery readiness

  .
• Maintain

  server room infrastructure

  (UPS, cooling, cabling).
• Implement and monitor

  system security updates & patches

  .
• Maintain system documentation and configurations.

Network Administration (Multi-location):

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot

  LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN

  across offices.
• Manage network devices

  switches, routers, firewalls, wireless APs

  .
• Ensure

  secure, reliable connectivity

  between corporate office, branch offices, and remote users.
• Conduct

  network performance monitoring

  and optimization.
• Implement

  network security protocols

  and

  access controls

  .

IT Security & Compliance:

• Enforce

  IT security policies

  for all servers and networks.
• Conduct

  security audits

  and manage endpoint protection.
• Support

  compliance

  with Pharma industry regulations (Data Integrity, GxP systems where applicable).
• Manage

  data protection & access controls

  .

IT Operations & User Support:

• Provide

  1st/2nd level support

  for server, network, and system issues across locations.
• Manage

  user accounts, permissions, and access rights

  .
• Maintain

  IT asset inventory

  across offices.
• Support

  deployment of new systems

  and infrastructure rollouts.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, and AMC support.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science
2. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience is required.
3. Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
