Executive - Tax IDT

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist the team in completion of risk processes before initiating the engagement.
• Assist in preparation of GST computations, filing of GST returns, and adherence to client timelines/statutory due dates for providing advisory or compliance services.
• Support during VAT / Service Tax / GST audits or assessments undertaken by tax authorities, including:
• Collation and review of documents
• Identifying gaps in documents
• Submissions to relevant authorities
• Assistance during verification of documents
• Preparation of draft replies for queries, letters, or notices.
• Assist the team during litigation matters, including:
• Understanding Notices / Orders
• Reviewing facts and contentions
• Drafting replies or appeals for submission to tax authorities
• Regular follow-ups with authorities
• Track amendments in laws, rules, regulations, and judicial pronouncements; identify impacted clients and assist in communicating updates.
• Work collaboratively with the team to accomplish client assignments.
• Ensure delivery of quality services to clients as per requirements and within timelines.
