Executive – Stores & Fabrication

The Executive – Stores & Fabrication will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and issue of construction materials, fabrication works, inventory management, and ensuring proper material availability at sites. The role demands coordination with project teams, vendors, and fabrication units to ensure timely supply and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Stores Management:

• Manage receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of construction materials, tools, and consumables.
• Maintain stock registers, GRNs, MRNs, and issue slips as per company procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid project delays.
• Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and preservation of materials at site/warehouse.
• Conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

Fabrication Management:

• Coordinate with site/project teams for fabrication material requirements.
• Supervise fabrication works (steel, aluminum, wood, etc.) as per drawings and BOQ.
• Monitor cutting, welding, bending, and assembly works for accuracy and quality.
• Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials with minimum wastage.
• Verify measurements, quality, and dispatch of fabricated items to sites.

Coordination & Compliance:

• Liaise with purchase, vendors, and project teams for timely delivery of materials.
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs, quality standards, and safety norms.
• Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward movement of materials.
• Support audits, MIS reporting, and data submission to management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, fabrication processes, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP/software (SAP / Tally / MS Excel) for store management.
• Good understanding of BOQ, drawings, and material specifications.
• Strong coordination, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead storekeepers/workmen and supervise fabrication workshops.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
