Role Overview: As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Samsonite, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of our travel bags, luggage, and accessories at both domestic and Bangladesh supplier ends. Your responsibilities will include daily inspection of finished goods, communication of audit reports to suppliers and internal teams, implementation of corrective actions for nonconformities, conducting lab testing, providing support for process improvement, and training new supplier QA teams. You will also be involved in monthly quality review meetings with supplier teams to uphold our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Daily inspection of finished goods at domestic and Bangladesh supplier ends - Communicate audit reports to suppliers and internal teams - Implement corrective actions for nonconformities in finished goods inspection and market feedback - Conduct monthly raw material and finished goods lab testing as per the annual plan - Oversee new product pilot run inspection and define acceptance criteria - Provide on-the-job training to new supplier QA teams - Conduct monthly quality review meetings with supplier teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - Minimum of X years of experience in quality assurance within the retail or manufacturing industry - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams About the Company: Samsonite is the global leader in travel bags, luggage, and accessories, known for its exceptional style, design technology, and commitment to quality and durability.
