The Utility Maintenance Manager is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of utility and offline equipment, including chillers, AHUs, clean rooms, cooling towers (CT), water treatment plants (WTP), effluent treatment plants (ETP), sewage treatment plants (STP), SCADA, BMS, and fire systems. The role involves executing maintenance operation systems to meet target KPIs, ensuring 100% utility operation, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance practices. The manager ensures compliance with safety protocols and legal requirements, maintains accurate records and reports, and collaborates with service providers and internal teams. Proficiency in MES/SAP systems and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint) are essential.
Major and Key Job Responsibilities / Activities responsible for
1. Ensure Operation & Maintenance and troubleshooting & repair of utility and offline equipments
2. Execute maintenance operation system for the robust implementation to deliver target KPI.
3. Ensure 100 % utility operation as per plant requirement.
4. In-depth Knowledge in mechanical utility like Chiller, AHU, Clean Room, CT, WTP, ETP and STP, SCADA, BMS, Fire System maintenance.
5. Responsible for overall plant maintenance, utilities, facilities to reduce time and 100 % availability.
6. Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PDM), analysis and Corrective actions.
7. Ensure all the legal and statutory requirement fulfil for respective area.
8. Maintain spare as per requirement and follow safety practices (LOTO, TBT, HIRA& EIA, Work permit) during maintenance work.
9. Work in celebration with O&M team and maintain record as per requirement.
10. Daily and monthly MIS data collection and report preparation as per requirement.
11. Implementing Continuous Improvement ideas and cost saving projects.
12. In-House Repair of Mechanical spares.
13. ShiftWise allocation of work and ensure timely completion during shifts and proper handover to next shift.
14. Develop and maintain utility related documents as per standard requirement and controlling and providing accurate data reporting.
15. Work closely with service provider, purchaser, process and project team.
2. Deliver Technical and safety training to Team.
2. Hands on experience in MES/SAP systems.
3. Computer Proficiency (MS Excel, Power point).
Mandatory Desired: Diploma in (Mechanical / Mechatronics)
Mandatory Desired: 6 years to 10 years in Lithium-ion cell manufacturing industry, Food/ Beverage & pharma, Packing, Tyre industries, Auto and heavy engineering.
Suitable / Optional: similar industry utility operation and maintenance handled with 6-10 years of experience.
Mandatory Desired: Leadership, Team management, Innovative, problem solving
Suitable / Optional: PDCA Approach, Good analytical skills
