Description
As an Executive IP at the company located in Navi Mumbai, Mahape, reporting to the General Manager IP, your primary focus will be providing IP support and identifying potential IP-driven opportunities in Europe, Emerging Markets, and North America. You are expected to have a thorough understanding of Patent Law provisions, basic knowledge of Regulatory Law in the EU & Emerging Markets, and the ability to support R&D, portfolio, and Business functions with IP support. Key Responsibilities: - Provide IP support to Glenmark R&D, portfolio, and Business functions - Offer clearance to formulation strategy and trade-dress/packaging strategies - Develop and review design-around strategy, invalidation strategy, and Freedom to Operate (FTO) strategies - Conduct IP Due Diligence activities independently for In-License projects - Identify critical IP and communicate effectively with stakeholders - Collaborate with various teams including formulation scientists, Regulatory Affairs, portfolio team, and commercial team - Monitor IP scenario, competitive intelligence, and update stakeholders about changes in a timely manner - Prepare and review memos, techno-legal documents for ongoing and upcoming litigations - Build strong relationships and align with cross-functional teams - Demonstrate organizational values like Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion Qualifications Required: - Educational Qualifications: M. Pharma in Pharmaceutics, industrial Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical Science. A Law degree or equivalent training or Registered Patent Agent certification is preferred. - Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Intellectual Property Management in the pharmaceutical industry or a reputable law firm. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing IP support, advising on intellectual property matters, and identifying opportunities for the company in different markets. Your expertise in Patent Law, Regulatory Law, and experience in Intellectual Property Management will be essential to the success of ongoing projects and future initiatives.
