**Job Description** As a **Demand and Inventory Management Lead** at Avery Dennison RBIS, your primary responsibilities will include: - Leading Demand Management and Inventory Management functions in a cross-functional environment to strategize and enhance productivity and efficiency in the area of Inventory and Demand Management. - Taking complete responsibility for Inventory Management of the Country, coordinating with sales and marketing for demand visibility, and aligning Inventory accordingly. - Optimizing Inventory between the 2 sites (GGN and BNG) and ensuring liquidation before placing fresh orders. - Exercising control over finished goods inventory, working closely with Customer Service and Business Development Managers for liquidation, and taking timely actions to avoid obsolescence. - Setting Inventory targets and working towards lean Inventory management with the help of ELS. - Coordinating with the purchase team and providing forecasts for upstream supply chain visibility. - Daily ordering of raw materials based on consumption patterns after necessary discussions. - Attending daily MDI for PPC and Purchase functions and taking necessary actions. - Providing faster and quicker responses to emails for better stock visibility. - Compiling Forecast versus Actuals and discussing with sales for inventory alignment. - Planning for AF, BF, and CF category items to prevent stockouts for fast movers without affecting Inventory targets. - Focusing on AR, BR, CR category items to avoid inventory pile-ups in these areas. - Generating Inventory and Demand planning-related MIS reports. - Managing Inventory Data (ABC FMR, SS, and ROL) effectively. - Driving efficiency in Inventory Management for better OTA (On-time availability of stocks). - Establishing Sales and Operation Planning processes for Demand and Supply balancing. - Controlling Inventory and maintaining Inventory targets set by the Management. **Qualifications** To qualify for this position, you should have: - A detailed understanding of Inventory Management/Materials Management. - A Bachelor's degree in Engineering. - An MBA/Degree in Materials Management. - 2 to 3 years of experience in managing Inventory Management and Demand Management. - Experience working in a manufacturing industry. - Preferably, a background in a multinational corporation. - Effective oral and written communication skills in English. - Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle. - Sound knowledge of continuous improvement programs like Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc. - Experience specifically in the Manufacturing Industry.,
