Executive - Environmental Sustainability

As an Environmental Sustainability Assistant at our company, your primary role will involve assisting in routine activities related to environmental sustainability at Bengaluru and Hyderabad facilities. You will be responsible for coordinating with each unit's respective departments to gather EHS-related data and reporting to the Central Environment Team (CET) and Unit Head. Additionally, you will be required to submit monthly environmental performance data on the buyer's supplier portal and ensure its validation by a third party. Key Responsibilities: - Co-ordinate with each unit's respective departments to gather EHS-related data and report to CET and Unit Head - Submit monthly Environmental Performance Data on the buyer's supplier portal and validate it with a third party - Handle Higg FEM & FDM submission and verify it with a third party, implement corrective action plans, and conduct regular follow-ups - Manage Chemical Management at South units with CIL maintenance, submission & Incheck report, and verify them - Oversee ZDHC programs at respective units - Attend brand programs, update respective project status online and offline, handle audits, and act as the nominated sustainability responsible for brands from units - Prepare ETP assessments for buyer's approved units - Review various regulatory submissions from units before they are submitted to the legal team, update about shortcomings and gaps in South units for various compliances - Train unit teams on various environmental requirements/programs - Coordinate with unit teams & legal teams for regulatory submissions Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field - Experience in environmental sustainability practices and compliance - Strong communication and coordination skills - Knowledge of regulatory requirements and environmental programs - Ability to work effectively in a team and independently - Certification in Environmental Management or related field is a plus If you have any questions or need further clarification on the role, feel free to reach out.
