Job Description

Job responsibilities:

Responsible to collect & monitor environmental data from garment facilities
Verification, Correction, input & analysis of data.
Monthly on time environmental data entry on customers environmental portals.
Updating Higg/Worldly Environmental portal.
Coordinating with 3rd party auditor during factory environmental audits.
Ensuring the submission of CAP (corrective action plan) as per the 3rd party audit results.
Monthly reports preparation & discussion with central sustainability team.
Conducting environmental audits at factory as per standard procedure.
Conducting environmental training at facilities as per requirement
Supporting garment facilities for meeting the buyer environmental requirements.
Providing environmental training & awareness to units
Identifying & communicating the environmental improvement opportunities to the respective units
Support for implementing sustainable initiatives.
Ensuring compliance with environment-related activities & communication with the legal team for reports/returns submission to KSPCB

Preference:

Higg/Worldly FEM (Facility environmental Module) knowledge and Higg/Worldly FEM self-assessment at the facility level.
General awareness about water recycling process related to industry.
Knowledge about decorbonisation and energy management.
Knowledge about chemical management and its compliance.
Knowledge of preventive & corrective actions related to environment at the manufacturing facilities.

Education Qualification: Degree in Science/Engineering/Sustainability.
