Location Chennai

Job Title Executive - EHS

  • Implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Managing EHS compliances (building, environment assets etc)
  • Monitoring performances by collecting data and measure the EHS performance.
  • Coordinating and conducting EHS management reviews
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, (vendors /suppliers customers, employees), to understand their expectations and concerns regarding EHS issues.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential environmental, health, and safety hazards in the workplace and implement mitigation plans.
  • Support is preparing and submitting required reports to regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct periodic training and awareness programme about safety protocols, environmental protection, and health and wellness.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking EHS performance and monitor progress of EHS performance.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for EHS management.
  • Ensuring transport safety.

  • Implement PTW and other operational control process.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to address potential environmental spills, workplace accidents, and other emergencies.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain records of incidents and report to relevant stake holders on the lesson learnt.
  • Develop and implement waste management plan industrial good practices.
  • Hazardous waste management (compliance, generation storage and disposal)
  • Assess and address ergonomic factors to improve workplace safety and employee well-being.
  • Ensure all fire and safety assets are operational and available.
  • Conduct periodic walk through of the facility and record observation related to HSE. Plan and conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement. Develop action plans address deficiencies and monitor their implementation.
  • Coordinate for ISO standard external audits (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 BSC etc)
  • Identify opportunity for improvement in EHS standards.
