You will be responsible for monitoring water consumption and waste water generation, as well as maintaining records of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP). In this role, you will need to prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for ETP environment monitoring and operations. You will also be in charge of disposing treated water to the plant, continuously monitoring the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of treated water, and ensuring that the TDS levels are within the specified limits. Additionally, you will maintain monthly records for Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) and Environment Auditors, which includes data on production, water consumption, waste water generation, fuel consumption, and power consumption. You will also oversee monthly environment monitoring conducted by third-party entities in compliance with guidelines. Your duties will involve monitoring all effluent drain lines, including storm drains and process scrubbers, to ensure proper functioning. You will need to coordinate with Heads of Departments (HODs) to collect monthly data on production, water consumption, waste water generation, power consumption, and fuel consumption. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining first aid boxes at the site and carrying out activities related to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) functions.
