Job Description

You will be responsible for managing online visual merchandising for an E-commerce platform in Bengaluru. Your primary focus will be on app and web merchandising, including product listings, content optimization, and overall execution. Your role will play a vital part in enhancing customer engagement and driving conversions through creating engaging digital shopping experiences. As the Executive of E-commerce Merchandising, your key responsibilities will include owning the listing, onboarding, and optimization of products and brands across the app and web platforms. You will be tasked with building and overseeing online product displays, banners, and category pages for promotional campaigns and seasonal events. Implementing online merchandising strategies to enhance product discoverability and conversion rates will be crucial. Additionally, you will manage and optimize product data such as classification, tagging, specs, and visuals to maintain consistency, appeal, and accuracy. Collaboration with internal teams including marketing, design, and technology for campaign planning and performance tracking will be essential. Regular audits of live pages to ensure visual and content hygiene will also fall under your responsibilities. Proficiency in Excel and data tools will be required to clean, analyze, and upload product-related content efficiently at scale. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 13 years of experience in online merchandising roles, with a strong background in e-commerce platforms, including product upload, catalog management, and online storefronts. Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, formulas, and pivot tables, is necessary. Hands-on experience with product content, visual merchandising for web/app, and analytics is highly desirable. You should be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail. Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, and a sense of ownership are crucial for this position. Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to work in a dynamic, growing team environment are also important qualities. Experience working with tools like CMS or content upload systems would be advantageous, as well as exposure to D2C/e-commerce brands, marketplaces, or online-only platforms.,
