Job Description

Role Overview: As a Financial Reporting Senior Manager at Wells Fargo, you will have the opportunity to lead and support large, complex functional areas related to external financial reporting requirements. Your role will involve designing and managing effective processes and tools to ensure reliable external financial reporting and advisory services. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading multiple stakeholder development initiatives and implementing complex projects impacting various lines of business. Your decisions will have a significant direct impact on function and line of businesses. It will be crucial for you to recommend compliance and risk management requirements, collaborate with professionals at all levels, and lead your team to achieve objectives. You will also act as a liaison for regulatory reporting issues and manage resources to ensure commitments are met in alignment with strategic objectives in Enterprise Finance. Key Responsibilities: - Support large, complex functional areas related to external financial reporting requirements - Design and manage effective processes and tools for reliable external financial reporting and advisory services - Lead stakeholder development initiatives and implement complex projects impacting lines of business - Direct accounting technical regulatory capital and regulatory reporting guidance - Coordinate regulatory reporting reviews by United States Federal Banking and Broker Dealer agencies - Make decisions with a significant direct impact on function and line of businesses - Recommend compliance and risk management requirements and collaborate with stakeholders - Lead team to achieve objectives and foster a culture of talent development - Act as a liaison for regulatory reporting issues and manage resources effectively Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting, or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education - 3+ years of management or leadership experience - Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Technology Additional Company Details: This role is a Leadership role as part of Finance Controllers transformation function, supporting the General Ledger operations within the India & Philippines Legal Entities. You will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for the General Ledger platform, leading modernization, product transformation, and supporting functions related to General ledger, subledger, automated accounting, and reporting. The successful candidate will lead a large team, interact with various teams across the enterprise, and drive change in complex organizations to achieve results.
